We are currently looking for Program Coordinator to join our team for the Fall semester of 2024 (August – December).

Salary: Start from 35,000THB per month (Negotiable)
Contract: 1 year contract ( 3 months probation) *High possibility to renew the contract.

Job description
- Manage and schedule external programs, faculty visits
- Track student health forms, program waivers before student arrival
- Organize the arrival of students and professors
- Arrange accommodation for professors and students for each program
- Plan orientation and introduction for students and professors
- Co-ordinate work between local people, American professors, American college students and other program teams
- Support professor, students and Field Instructors team for expedition field course
- Facilitate student academic learning in and outside the classroom, collaborating with professors and local informants in the field
- Facilitate student cross-cultural adjustment to and engagement with host families
- Assist with interpretation and translation between students and locals when necessary
- Prepare and plan course logistics such as but not limited to academic activities, schedules, transportation, budgets, and speakers
- Organize and manage essential materials for field course learning, i.e. expedition gear, medical supplies, course books and readings
- Set an example for students and encourage them to overcome physical challenges, such as hiking, living in hot conditions, etc.
- Oversee and create a positive learning environment for student group on field courses and at ISDSI
Qualifications and Skills
- Thai National holding a Thai Identity card (บัตรประจำตัวประชาชนไทย) and Thai passport (or eligible for a Thai passport).
- Bachelor degree or higher in any field
- 5 years of work experience (preferable in administrative skills)
- Age is over 30 years old
- Excellent in speaking, reading and writing English and Thai
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Strong leadership and team-oriented mindset
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills in English and Thai
- Strong time management skills, detail-oriented and ability to multitask
- Expedition experience such as hiking, snorkeling and sea kayaking preferred but not required
- Flexible working hours (agreement of working hours will be arranged)
