Are you studying Ecology, Environmental Studies, Anthropology, Sociology or a related field? ISDSI’s People, Ecology and Development study abroad courses are expeditions into the cultures and ecologies of Thailand, created in collaboration with local communities. You will get college credit while learning and developing unique skills that will enhance your degree and set you apart in the job market.

Become fully immersed in Thai culture while studying at ISDSI. Host families in Chiang Mai and other parts of the country will welcome you into their homes, and help you learn the language, customs, and traditions of the local communities.
Sea kayak while studying oceans and mangroves. Backpack through the the mountains to understand upland forest ecosystems and learn the connections between place and culture.
