The time has already arrived for students to say thank you and goodbye to their Chiangmai families! On Thursday night, students, families, and ISDSI staff gathered for a traditional khantoke dinner, dressed in Lanna clothing and dined on Northern Thai dishes. Several students performed songs and dances they learned with their families. To close the evening, all of the students sang a medley of Thai pop songs they’d learned with their Thai language Ajaans.
After 5 weeks with host families, students will move this weekend into apartments, preparing for the adjustment to expedition field courses.
