The ISDSI Thailand semester program is a cross-disciplinary, experiential study abroad program that integrates the study of Thai culture with travel and exploration throughout Thailand. Among its many strengths, this program provides a collaborative educational experience for students across all academic disciplines. Our student cohorts often include majors of business, anthropology, religion, sociology, sciences, art. We encourage students of all majors to apply!
Eligible applicants
- Enrolled in an accredited college or university
- In good academic standing
- Not on academic or disciplinary probation
- Meet our Essential Eligibility Requirements
We recommend that you talk with your study abroad advisor at your home school as soon as possible to learn of any deadlines or requirements they may have for study abroad. We’re here to help! If your school does not already send students to ISDSI, we can help provide the information you may need to get approval for a semester at ISDSI. Email us at [email protected].
(Please note: Given the inherent limitations of operating a program in Thailand, we might not be able to accommodate all allergies, learning needs, physical and other limitations. Contact us in advance if you have any allergies or necessary accommodations.)

If you’re using your computer, please go to the online application portal.
Create your profile, select ISDSI, scroll down to programs on the left sidebar, choose your program of interest and click “apply” to go through the steps.

Application process
The Campus Community portal will guide you through all the required steps in our admissions process. These are as follows:
- 2 letters of recommendation from a professor, advisor, coach or mentor
- Study Abroad Approval Form to be completed by your study abroad office
- Recent school transcript to be emailed to [email protected]
- Copy of passport uploaded to the portal
- Application form for your chosen program, completed on the portal
ADMISSIONS DECISIONS
Program spaces are filled on a first come, first served basis. You are encouraged to submit your application and supporting materials as early as possible to ensure that there is space available in the semester of your choice. When your application is considered complete it will be reviewed for acceptance.
If you are accepted, additional information will be required to finalize your enrollment.
