We’re fortunate this semester to have a professor, Micheal Kerwin, from the University of Denver doing a sabbatical semester with us.  Professor Kerwin has played a great role at ISDSI — stepping in for guest lectures on climate change, working on experiential learning, and overall contributing to the life and community of ISDSI.

We were excited to have him come out to one of the villages we work with in Mae Hong Son and see some of the community based education we do first hand.  Here are some of his thoughts on the experience:
